Installation Guidelines

Proper installation is critical for 6mm porcelain slab performance:

• Substrate Preparation: Ensure substrates are level, clean, and structurally sound. Maximum allowable deviation is 2mm per meter.
• Adhesive Selection: Use polymer-modified thin-set adhesive rated for large-format panels (Class C2E or higher per EN 12004).
• Support Requirements: All four edges must be supported. Maximum unsupported span: 60cm for wall applications, 30cm for countertops.
• Expansion Joints: Leave 2–3mm perimeter joints filled with flexible sealant to accommodate thermal movement.
• Cutting: Use diamond-blade wet saws or CNC machinery. Score-and-snap is not recommended for 6mm thickness.
